“Art is the Tree of Life. Science is the Tree of Death,” wrote Blake. In such a dualistic view, art and science are only concepts. They are figments of the imagination, categories with an imaginary gap between them.

What happens if we remove the gap between categories? Is medicine science or art? Is music art or science? Beyond the categories, in the unlabeled cosmos, where do art and science, life and death, separate?
